Google has recently updated their satellite footage around the Int base area.

And it certainly is quite an update, here is a comparison from the previous footage, which was from 2006, and the new:

According to Google the capture date was November 16, 2009.

The new footage has wonderful resolution and quality, you can check it out online here : Google Maps

And for you downloaders and archivists out there, I have made a quality image rip of the entire base, colour corrected, re-sampled and sharpened for your pleasure:

Perhaps some ex-int-base persons can use the high resolution and recent image data for some commentary or analysis. Or anon can use it in a project, or whatever really, have fun.
